Atomic text+caret delivery on notes. Op batches carry the author's caret; the server echoes it on the same note-text event as the resolved text, so dots and letters arrive together instead of racing two channels (the "line below, then corrects" class).
Session visibility. Streams open with a {type:session} event and op answers carry authed; tabs show an expiring-session banner with re-login instead of silently degrading to hashes. HTTP 401/403 keeps the outbox (never drops user typing).
Datastar runtime on every navbar page (board, notes doc, room, config, landing): the shared logout form's data-on handlers were dead markup without it — including the logout service-worker cleanup.
